DESIGN SERVICE

A full design capability enables Barton Formwork to offer a bespoke manufacturing service. Working in partnership with customers, we are able to provide constructive input on product design, prototypes, testing, manufacturing feasibility and production output. Small production runs also benefit from the addition of advanced in-house CAD/CAM systems, which reduce the inherent operating costs.

Working closely with the customer the design team can:

• Generate CAD product designs and detailed engineering drawings from a hand drawn image or product idea

• Refine the product design to improve usability, design, quality and function

• Recommend design changes to achieve lower production costs or to meet a specified budget

• Use design specs to produce samples and prototypes

• Provide a hard copy drawing or electronic drawing which are linked directly to the manufacturing facility

• Produce tooling, jigs and fixtures
